The Skylark product line is focused on the rapid design, build, and test of cutting-edge active phased array antennas (AESA) for terrestrial and airborne applications. Current programs span high-power, large-scale ground terminals for missile defense to commercial airline and helicopter connectivity solutions.
We are looking to add a Senior Program Scheduler to our team. In this role you will lead program scheduling activities by developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated master schedules for complex programs. This role contributes to successful program execution by evaluating schedule performance, resolving complex scheduling challenges, and providing schedule analysis that supports program objectives and customer requirements.
Working cross-functionally with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and production, this role supports schedule planning, schedule maintenance, performance reporting, and program execution.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop integrated master schedules, schedule baselines, and planning methodologies supporting complex programs and customer requirements.
- Evaluate program scope, work breakdown structures, resource requirements, milestones, and dependencies while developing executable program schedules.
- Conduct schedule planning meetings, baseline reviews, and schedule updates throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead integrated schedule management by coordinating schedule activities, dependencies, milestones, and progress updates across multiple functional organizations.
- Evaluate schedule performance, critical path activities, schedule variances, forecasting, and schedule risks while resolving complex scheduling challenges.
- Validate schedule integrity through schedule health assessments, baseline control, forecasting activities, and schedule recovery planning.
- Lead coordination with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, contracts, and production to support program scheduling activities.
- Develop schedule reports, milestone charts, executive dashboards, schedule metrics, and performance analyses supporting program reviews and business decisions.
- Coordinate program reviews, schedule assessments, customer meetings, and cross-functional planning activities by providing schedule recommendations and execution guidance.
- Manage scheduling documentation, schedule baselines, change records, forecasting data, and scheduling files supporting current and future programs.
- Evaluate scheduling processes, scheduling standards, customer requirements, and program performance while identifying opportunities to improve execution.
- Develop improvements that enhance schedule accuracy, forecasting effectiveness, reporting efficiency, cross-functional coordination, and overall scheduling performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, operations management, finance, or a related field with 5–8 years of related experience, Master's degree with 3–6 years of related experience in program scheduling, project controls, project management, operations, or a related discipline.
- Advanced knowledge of program scheduling, integrated master scheduling, and project planning principles.
- Experience developing integrated master schedules, schedule baselines, forecasting models, and schedule performance analyses for complex programs.
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology, schedule risk analysis, earned value concepts, resource planning, and project lifecycle management.
- Experience evaluating schedule performance, identifying schedule risks, and developing recovery strategies that support program objectives.
- Experience leading cross-functional scheduling activities while balancing program priorities, customer milestones, and organizational objectives.
- Demonstrates sound judgment when leading scheduling activities, resolving complex scheduling challenges, and supporting strategic program decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Scheduling and project management tools, e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Open Plan, or equivalent applications.
- Data analysis and collaboration tools, e.g. Power BI, SharePoint, Jira, or equivalent applications.
